Today, Moshe uses all the knowledge and experience he has acquired over the years in the field of amplification and recordings in a new project of building quality boutique microphones, designed for recordings in professional and home recording studios, and for amplification in live performances.
The microphones are faithful and accurate "replicas" of world-renowned microphones, especially vintage microphones from the late 1970s and 1980s.
The EZM 2020 was built by Moshe Etzioni, inspired by Electro Voice's famous RE20 broadcast microphone.
The microphone is a dynamic microphone, with cardioid directionality and excellent frequency response.
The microphone has an internal sponge that functions as a "pop filter" so there is no need for an external pop filter during recording.
In addition, there are three filters that can be controlled by three switches for the three frequency ranges – the high, low-mid frequencies, and the very low (subwoofers) and give a wide range of shades to your recordings.
The microphone has an elegant, vintage design and comes with a dedicated arm (attached to the body of the microphone) designed to attach to the stand.
The EZM 2020 is a microphone that can handle high volumes and is suitable for recordings of bass drums, electric guitar and bass amplifiers, and vocals.
