EZM-V49 Replica of Neumann M49 Tube Microphone

EZM-V49 was inspired by Neumann’s famous vintage microphone M49 from 1951.

The microphone is designed in the classic version of the original M49 microphone.

The EZM-V49 microphone is built with an original Telefunken AC-701 rake tube with extremely low working noise.

The microphone capsule is the famous 34mm M7 capsule from the 1950s with a double diaphragm that allows 3 reception textures: Cardioid, OmniDirectional, Figure-8

The capsule is made by a German manufacturer.

The EZM-V49 microphone consists of a B11 output transformer from the Cinemag company, which is known for the quality of its products.

The electrical program is the original program of the Neumann’s M49 microphone.

The EZM-V49 microphone replica was meticulously handcrafted by the sound engineer and electronics technician Ezioni Moshe.

After electronic assembly, the microphone is very carefully tested and calibrated against the original microphone.

The Neumann M49 is best known for its use by singers Barbra Streisand, Duke Ellington, Simon & Garfunkel and more..

This microphone has an incredibly rich and round tone and the ability to make particularly harsh sounds much more pleasant and warm.

Even in the professional recording studios in Israel, the microphone is considered the main microphone for singing and piano recordings.
